Modishance, created to give wings to few caged blue prints and let it out to be experienced.
Greeting to you, who is here to bless me with your time and patience! keeping the formality aside, i am blessed to have this platform to reach out to a you and hope I create and express something which is worth your time.

My name is Mandira Paul, a fresh graduate who did her major in finance and accountancy. And right now, you are reading my first ever blog post. After years of contemplation and critical analysis, I put together myself and dropped my Blog. To be brutally honest, I am not the person, whom you will run into the street and find me looking all chic and decked up. I felt I have not put much efforts on myself when it comes to fashion, beauty, travel and other area.
I am an immediate college pass out, however, the most dressed I have been is in my farewell ceremony (for which I have been planning for weeks). I was ALWAYS THE ONE IN T-SHIRT AND LOOSE PANTS WITH A PAIR OF KITO SHOES. But I had taken a lot of inspiration from those, who would try to look presentable by the little efforts they used to put.
However, this is probably the only time I will get to introduce myself and I feel I have given too much information. I want this blog to be all about things I learn on my way to discover the path of fashion and beauty.
Welcome!

Why this?
To master the art of symbiosis. To believe we can grow and glow together. To be a part of digital family. To enrich my fashion senses with encounters, I believe I will be having. Having a platform to have your words and opinion expressed. Having a place to fight your limits to get better. This blog is just a platform, I have created a massive space within myself to be put out there to enlighten my senses more. The desire to experiment and showcase the process of rediscovering myself is also another reason.

What now?
I love to relate to such people who are swimming and sinking in the ocean of fashion and beauty and need to reach the coast. I want to connect to people who like vintage style, animal prints, funky glasses, minimal makeup, and red lipstick.
I want to make the best of the opportunity and utilise the platform to create and share more concepts.
What are you?

The pile of graphic t-shirt, regular fit denim, that usual hairdo with literally no time to do any sort of makeup was my usual and obvious. It would surprise people if I look presentable. No matter how comfortable it was for me. I understood, it matters what you wear. I want my style to leave a statement like I want my work would. Day by day, efforts made it better. Be that Indian outfits or that LBD I knew why I was dressing up for. Then entered Shreya Jain and Komal Pandey my life and made me realise how important right makeup and accessories were . I always valued the importance of basics and nude makeup. I am moody, at times, those times makes me wonder and question my style. My closest deals with all the ultimate mood swings and ends up getting loaded with a ton of revamped or thrifted clothes. Or clothes I have bought it from a street store. I learnt a bit about thrifting and revamping and the art of street shopping, while struggling to get my style statement on point.

Most of my fashion inspiration have been taken from the Instagram page called STREET STYLE DELHI, have been following them for years now and I love how they showcase beautiful people with amazing styles ideas.Other than that my fashion journey has been influenced by the people I have crossed my path.

However, I do have a weakness for Saree (Thanks to Sabyasachi) ! I personally believe, i look the prettiest whenever the six yards of grace is draped around my body.
The story so far is only a mere segment of the journal of my fashion adventure. I look forward to sharing with you soon enough.
Thank You!
